CERT Tactical Network (www.certops.com)

The CERT Tactical Network is the international network of Correctional Emergency Response Team operators representing some 30,000 special operations officers in more than 7,000 correctional institutions worldwide. These specially trained emergency response officers are charged with the most dangerous jobs in the corrections industry, including transport of violent prisoners and the quelling of riots and other disturbances.

Members of the CERT Council, governing body of the CERT Tactical Network, agreed to introduce the OraLine® saliva illicit drug screen product to corrections facilities in their respective states and countries. The Council was established to investigate and to endorse products, services and standards used by Correctional Emergency Response Team (CERT) operators around the world and to facilitate corrections counter-terrorism information globally.

The CERT counselors unanimously agreed to participate in pilot programs using and comparing the OraLine saliva drug screen product with the urine testing programs currently used at their respective facilities. Initial OraLine products have been delivered to these facilities.

The CERT counselors also unanimously agreed to appoint Harrington as its Technology and Innovation Partner with Harrington bringing future technologies and products to the CERT Council for its consideration and for its endorsement as the industry standard.
